Can you provide invitations for events other than weddings?
Any of our beautiful, luxurious invitations can be used for any event, such as 25th or 50th wedding anniversary celebrations, bar or bat mitzvahs, birthdays, engagement parties, etc.
Do your wedding invitation prices include printing my actual wedding details?
Yes, the pricing includes the custom handmade invitations, and classic double envelopes with a lined inner envelope and an outer mailing envelope. On most designs, the front will be custom foil-stamped and embossed with your names and wedding date (see your preferred design for confirmation), and the inside of the invitation will include the wording you provide. The outer envelope will also have your return address printed on the flap.
What is the procedure for finalizing the design of my wedding invitation?
Once we receive confirmation of your payment along with the copy provided during the ordering process, we will prepare an electronic proof and email it to you for approval. We strongly suggest you print the proof and check it thoroughly line by line for any spelling mistakes, including commas and line breaks, and notify us if any corrections are necessary. You may also want to have another person look over it as well to confirm that everything is correct. If you require amendments to the previous invitation wording you have supplied to us, we will send you an amended electronic proof for you to approve. Only after you confirm with us that you are happy with the final version of the electronic proof will your invitations be printed and hand assembled. You will have two revisions of the proof before any further additional cost is incurred. Customers should find this to be ample time to finalize the invitation, and our experienced designers will work to ensure your complete happiness with the design.
How much time will it take to receive my wedding invitations?
Due to the custom handmade nature of your luxury invitations, we recommend that you contact us as soon as you finalize your venue and reception details. We will make every effort to meet your schedule! Optimally, you may want to allow 4-5 months before your wedding date to ensure a stress-free process. This will allow sufficient time to amend and incorporate any required changes you may need to your invitations. However, you should allow for up to 2 months from the date you confirm your approval of the proof to when you will receive your invitations. If you will have your invitations addressed by a calligrapher, please also build that time into your schedule. If your order is urgent, please do contact us as soon as possible so that we can determine if we may be able to accommodate your requirements, depending on our production schedule at the time.
Can I have my wedding invitations customized?
We offer both ready-to-order invitations and bespoke luxury designs. Your invitations will have your own personal wedding details printed on them. During the ordering process, there are additional options to customize further by adding foil and embossing of your names inside. If you choose colors other than the invitation as shown, our skilled designers will do our best to customize with your wedding colors, although there are limitations for some designs. We will contact you if we need to discuss prior to providing your proof. You will provide your personalized copy during the order process. While we have advised the maximum lines that your invitation or RSVP card will hold, we recommend fewer lines to allow your copy to be designed in a larger font for more stunning impact.
How much will it cost to send your designer wedding invitations via U.S.P.S.?
We use high-quality materials and thick luxurious papers for each of our invitations. The weight of each hardcover invitation, including an RSVP card and RSVP card envelope since you will most likely include those pieces in your mailing, is specified in the product description for each invitation. While postage rates may change, the current mailing rate is $2.83 to $3.02 per invitation including an RSVP card and RSVP envelope inserted into your invitation. Adding more inserts will increase the weight. The invitations will need to be sent at the parcel rate rather than letter rate since they do not bend.
If the invitation is converted to softcover, it can be sent at the regular first-class letter rate. We are happy to customize your invitation to be softcover, and you can contact us for a softcover quotation on any of our designs.
Is there a minimum order quantity for a purchase of an invitation design?
Our invitations are individually crafted for your wedding, with special custom embossing and stamping dies for your names and date. Quantities smaller than 75 will cost approximately the same as 75 invitations, so this is where we have set the minimum. However, should you need to purchase an invitation quantity less than the minimum order quantity, please contact us to inquire about pricing. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. How many invitations should I order?
We suggest that you order at least 10-20 extra invitations to allow you plenty for inviting last-minute guests, in case any are lost in the mail, or in the event that mistakes are made during the addressing of the envelopes. Please do keep in mind that due to the time it takes to manufacture your unique invitation, it will not be possible to order additional invitations at a later time.
Where are your invitations made?
Our beautiful invitations are handcrafted by skilled printers in Indonesia who specialize in invitations. After visiting their workshop, we have found that they meet our exacting standards, and we are pleased to be able to offer such high craftsmanship. Due to the handmade nature of the product, it is understandable that very minimal variation can occur. The materials used to create our invitations are premium quality, and the European and Indonesian papers used for Spun Gold Creations Invitations are sustainably harvested from managed forests.
How will my invitations be delivered?
Your invitations will be carefully wrapped and packaged to prevent damage during shipping, and they will be shipped to your provided address via FedEx ground courier service or through the U.S. Postal Service, depending on your location. If you are local and would prefer to pick up your exquisite invitations, contact us for arrangements prior to placing your order.
Do you ship luxury invitations to countries outside the United States?
We only sell and ship our invitations within the United States at this time.
